Receiving And Unpacking Your Arcade Machine
Your Extreme Home Arcades machine will be shipped to you via a freight carrier (see photo).
BEFORE signing off on your shipment with the freight carrier, please thoroughly inspect your machine for damage. The shipping process can be hard on the machines, so please take the time to inspect the shipment carefully. This will mean you uncrating your machine, with, if possible, a cordless drill (with a Philips head screwdriver bit) and a utility knife or box cutter. You typically have a minimum of 15 minutes to inspect your machine and you always have the right to refuse any damaged shipment. If the driver attempts to pressure you to sign, refuse, and state you have a minimum of 15 minutes to inspect the machine. In most cases, the driver will comply and allow you to properly inspect the shipment.
In the event of damage, you must report it to the driver and NOTE IT ON THE DELIVERY RECEIPT and again, you always have the right to refuse a damaged shipment. If you do not note the damage on the Delivery Receipt you are confirming that you received the goods in perfect condition and you release the shipping company from any liability on the shipment. Again, any damage must be reported to the driver and listed on the paperwork and do NOT sign off on the shipment. If you sign the delivery receipt and do not note any damages, you cannot claim damage afterward! Also, please immediately notify us at 715/212-8063 if you see any damage to your shipment.
The podcast “EHA What to Expect When You Are Expecting (Your EHA Machine)” Part 1 and Part 2 includes many tips regarding receiving your machine.
